Philpot from Michigan State University which we rate as one of the best learning resources overall and in the field of strength of materials / mechanics of materials. The learning resource consists of 15 chapters covering all the basics of mechanics of materials like stress, strain, equilibrium, beams, torsion, loading, bending, stress & Strain transformation.
All topics carry the tips & interactive tutorials which feature animations step by step to explain what’s going on inside. At the end of each topic, there are concept checkpoints which allow the reader to check how much did he / she gained from the lesson. The interactive games are a similar type of end activity which merges fun and learning for better understanding.
The learning resource can be used by high school & college students and we really stress on using this wonderful resource in your courses.
