A Finnish engineer, Aki Suokas has made a single-seater airplane FlyNano that weighs only 70 kilograms and ideal for individual flying around.
This lightweight airplane is totally made of the renowned composite material carbon fibre which is known for its wonderful strength to weight ratio. It’s so small and light that you might get the license to fly it without any major issues as associated with professional pilot certification.
The airplane comes in three versions: 1 electric and 2 fuel-based.
Electric Version has 20kW engine while the two fuel-based versions are powered by 24 and 35 bhp engines. The plane has top speed of 140 km/h and minimum 70 km/h. The wingspan (distance between edges of two wings) is 5 metres. Also it has ability to fly 200 kg, bit more than a normal person weighs unless you weight as heavy as Bigshow, the WWE superstar.
Hasn’t been tested practically but theoretically it can cover 70 kg in a single recharge/litre of fuel. Quite more than average automobile does.
The cheapest model among these costs around 39,000 US$. The orders for this plane will be open to be given after three months from now so gather the cash as fast as you can.
