Apple’s Founding Documents Auctioned, Sold For 1.6 million US Dollars

The documents carrying details of 150,000 US$ deal were auctioned for 1.6 million US$ (1,600,000 US$). These documents were the pioneer papers for the company we know as Apple today.

The document was the confirmation for Apple to become a registered company. And sure they carry signatures of Steve jobs,Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne. It’s a bundle of 3 separate documents with one carrying signatures of founders, an amendment document and statement of withdrawal. The withdrawal statement carries worth of 800 US$ which is what Wayne sold his shares for. Right now the value of that share would be 3.9 billion US$. The buyer of those shares was Mr Eduardo Cisneros, chief executive officer of Cisneros Corp, who snapped up the documents at Sotheby’s in New York.

The worth of papers at which they were auctioned shows how successful and respected brand Apple has become since then !
