With the recent unveiling of NVIDIA’s portable gaming machine, things have stirred up in the gaming community pretty much. Every body is excited about high end PC games coming onto a Handheld. And now to the much delight of entire gaming community, Razer has recently revealed its Edge Tablet which is designed to be one of a kind gaming tablet .The tablet won’t only be able to play arcade games like Angry birds and Fruit Ninja but also highly anticipated PC games. The big plus about this is that it runs on Windows 8 and is packed with some high-powered hardware. It comes in two versions; i5 and i7. The i5 version is cheaper than the i7 version and has 4GB RAM and up to 64 GB of space. The detailed specs of the i7 version are as follows,
OS: Windows 8
CPU: Intel core i7
RAM: 8 GB DDR3
GPU: Intel HD 4000 and Nvidia Gt 640m (Dx 11 supported)
Edge sports a 10.1 inch display with capacitive touch screen, a front camera is also integrated for video calling. Despite of all the good news there is a darker side. Apparently this gaming tablet has been way over-priced, the i5 version will cost around $999 and the i7 version will cost around $1299. You can get a decent PC in that kind of money, people are surely excited about this but the price might force them to think otherwise. Will it succeed or will it fail, let us know your opinion in the comments.
